Hey, Soul Sister by Train

I have never seen my husband study so much as he has for every test in medical school. When there's a test coming up, I can't expect much from him because of how much he has to study. This means I have become very close with some girls who are also spouses/significant others of students. Unfortunately this coming monday they have a test, which is horrible since it's Superbowl weekend!!!! But this means its time for me to hang out with the girls!

Today I changed my outfit from day to night. School teacher by day, out with the ladies by night.

Sweater: Peebles / Dress: Peebles / Leggings: Macy's / Boots: Peebles

Sweater: Peebles / Cami: American Eagle / Jeans: American Eagle / Shoes: Steve Madden / Bracelets: Guess

I definitely like the cardigan buttoned up better than open, but I wanted to show that I was wearing a dress instead of a skirt. It made the dress bunch up weird when I closed it. I do love the flower detail on the top of the sweater. It makes it a little more feminine and less plain.

Now I'm off to the International Festival at the medical school. Should be a fun night!

  1. Welcome to the world of blogging!
I'm about one month into this myself, and I'm also a teacher so I am totally into supporting my fellow educators out there!
I love the ruffles on this sweater, the contrast of it against the black dress, and I like how you transitioned it from day to night!

    Keep it coming!
