Get Lucky by Daft Punk

Sorry about not posting yesterday, that was not intentional. But we made it to Seattle! I'll write more about that later since I want to share about our friends wedding this weekend. The bride and I got to know each other being in the bridal party of our best friends wedding. She's been her BFF since high school and she's been mine since college. So we immediately became friends and continued to hang out after the wedding, including some double dates so the guys got to know each other too. They had a beautiful wedding and we are so happy for them!

Surrounded by my best friend and husband, doesn't get much better! :)

I wore this dress for the wedding and loved it! It was a little cool so I warmed up with some black accessories. Thanks to eShakti.com for this awesome dress!!!

Home by Dierks Bentley

Hubby is done with his last rotation of medical school! Besides some paperwork, all he has left to do is to graduate in a month!!!! I can't believe medical school is almost a thing of our past. I'm so proud of all that Hubby has learned and accomplished in these four years. Now he has even more work to do in his six years of residency. He's going to be an amazing surgeon. But for the next month, I'm going to enjoy him being home to hang out with and help get everything ready for the move, starting with house hunting next week!
Shirt: Abercrombie and Fitch / Jeans: Gap / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Peebles

It was a beautiful day yesterday that felt like summer, so the white pants had to make their debut of the year. This outfit is pretty simple but put together. It was a great choice to run errands and meet friends to get manicures and dinner! The brides fingers and toes look beautiful and we're all excited for tomorrow!

Fall Down by will.i.am feat. Miley Cyrus

I said yesterday that its been a busy week already and I needed a day to get everything ready for Seattle. Well, I am on a roll. Hotel and car reservations have been made for next week, laundry has been started, the dishwasher is loaded and running, and the apartment has been tidied up. I'm going to get dinner started shortly, bake cookies for my friend's wedding's cookie table, and tackle some emails. Then after a stop at the bank and Old Navy, I'm meeting the bride to get our nails done and deliver the cookies. Finally, back home for dinner with Hubby who's last day of rotations is today!!!!!!! Like I said earlier, good thing I have the day off to get some things done! :)
Pullover: Under Armour / Cami: Aeropostale / Pants: Macy's / Flats: Shoe Show / Earrings: NY&Co.

This is what I wore yesterday to sub Phys Ed. The pullover is sporty and paired with the dress pants made me still look professional. I'm not comfortable to sub Phys Ed in sweat pants, but this is just as comfortable. I've finally found the right combination for Phys. Ed :)

Gentleman by PSY

The recent tragedies in our country are incredibly sad, but are reminders to us to not take things for granted. I am blessed with a good life and thankful for all the people in it. One of those people is my dad, who turns 80 today! So Happy Birthday Dad!!! I hope it's a wonderful day!!! Love you lots :)
Shirt: TJ Maxx / Jeans: American Eagle / Boots: Steve Madden / Jacket: Abercrombie and Fitch / Earrings: Peebles

This is what I wore on Saturday to Westminster. After a beautiful week it was only in the 50s so back to layering and boots to stay warm. The top is navy blue and has lacy short sleeves, which were covered by the jacket, but will go nicely with some white pants and no jacket sometime soon!

Boys 'Round Here by Blake Shelton

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend, because we did. Starting Easter weekend, we have something going on every weekend till we move and that means we get to see as many of our friends and family as possible. And we are loving it. This past weekend was unfortunately cold after our week of beautiful weather, but we enjoyed catching up with old friends and being on campus.
Shirt: Ralph Lauren / Cami: Aeropostale / Capris: Peebles / Heels: Shoe Show / Earrings: Stella and Dot

This outfit was what I intended to wear on Friday to school. Then the secretary messaged all the substitutes for the day and told us it was Jeans day for $1. So I changed into jeans, but kept the shirt. Its one of my favorite button downs because of the color and fit. And I always think it goes nicely with brown.

Here's To Never Growing Up by Avril Lavigne

Its that time again. I'm subbing middle school social studies and then its the weekend. Have any fun plans? Hubby and I are going to Westminster tomorrow for his fraternity's alumni reunion weekend. It'll be a fun time with old friends, new friends, and my little sister. We may have all graduated, but its always fun to pretend you're still in college when you're back at your alma mater with the friends you made there. :)
Shirt: Old Navy / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Hawaii

You can't go wrong with an outfit full of favorites. Favorite baseball tee, favorite color, a pair of jeans and flats.... if you want to feel comfortable, wear your favorite things! :)

Just Keep Breathing by We The Kings

The orders have been received. That means the little details about our move to Fort Lewis can be made. So that means I need to read them thoroughly, figure out what all the acronyms stand for, and start making the arrangements. Hubby has one more week of rotations, and then he can help me out with it. Plus the week after he's done, we are headed to Seattle to check out housing. So things around here are going to be changing. Hubby's going to be home (yay!!!) and we'll be making things happen for the move. Bring it on!
Sweater: American Eagle / Shorts: Old Navy / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Peebles

Do you see this?! I'm wearing shorts!!! I am wearing long sleeves, but they're light and just to keep me from freezing while running errands in stores that blast their air conditioning as soon as the temperature is over 70 degrees. I kept the outfit simple for just a day of errands and teaching dance. To dress it up for date night, I would add a belt and either black flats or heels.

I Want Crazy by Hunter Hayes

Its the perfect day to open the windows and get some spring cleaning done. Spring cleaning two months before a move means organizing things so they're easy to be packed up into boxes and throwing away stuff that we really don't use or need. Its sometimes an easy process and sometimes very difficult. So wish me luck with that. Also, Happy Anniversary to my grandparents who have been married for 64 years! So happy for them and looking forward to seeing them in three weeks :)
Sweater: Stradivarius (in Spain) / Cami: Aeropostale / Pants: NY&Co. / Heels: Shoe Dept. / Earrings: NY&Co.

I wore this to school last week. It was one of those cold mornings that would warm up to almost 50s in the afternoon, but the classroom would stay cold all day. I always love these red dress pants and keep the rest of the outfit neutral for them to pop. Especially at school, because I'm not there to stop traffic with my outfits. Just trying to look professional with a touch of style.

Crash My Party by Luke Bryan

I am so happy right now. Spring is finally here. It is gorgeous outside. Hubby and I went for a walk yesterday wearing t-shirts and shorts, because it was and still is 70 degrees! It was beautiful for a fun weekend. Saturday was a girly day of celebrating two brides to be. First I went to a princess and the frog themed bridal shower. Then I went out for a bachelorette party. So today's outfit is what I wore from one to the other.
Bridal shower:
Blazer: Sweden / Tank: Old Navy / Skirt: Gap / Heels: Shoe Dept. / Earrings: Stella and Dot

Bachelorette:
Jeans: American Eagle

We were asked to wear black for the bachelorette party, so that outfit was created first. I picked out the black sparkly tank and jeans for the party. Heels were the obvious choice as was adding the blazer for a bit of warmth, however, it was warm enough for rolled up jeans! I had originally picked a different black and white dress to wear to the bridal shower, when hubby asked why I changed. I told him that dresses and skirts are more appropriate for a bridal shower, and I had kept the same accessories to make changing in between easier. That's when I realized, I could just change out the skirt. So I put on the pink skirt and was really happy with how it looked. It made changing from one to the other really easy!

Highway Don't Care by Tim McGraw

Happy Friday! I'm looking forward to going out for Thai food with friends tonight, going to a bridal shower and bachelorette party (for two different brides) tomorrow, and having a relaxing Sunday. And the temperature is supposed to get into the 60s!!!! Spring at last! What are your plans for the weekend?
Shirt: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Boots: Crocs / Earrings: NY&Co.

I really don't know why I don't wear this top more often. Its pretty cute and I can change it up with different color camis underneath it. With that said, you'll probably see it again soon!

I'm A Keeper by The Band Perry

Well spring break is over and I'm back to work. Today I'm subbing high school math. After school I'm looking forward to a relaxing evening of making dinner and sitting on the couch and watching my favorite tv shows with Hubby. Sounds like a perfect little Thursday. Speaking of dinner, I haven't done a kitchen adventures post in awhile. So look out for that. There will be one soon!
Sweatshirt: Target / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: Target

Jacket: The North Face

I wore this the other day to run some errands. I'm ready for the weather to be warm enough that I don't need to add the fleece jacket to be comfortable outside. I do however love wearing sweatshirts and jeans and being super comfortable, as I was in this outfit :)
