The Rose by Janis Joplin

It is Homecoming weekend at Westminster and I am loving seeing old friends and playing in the alumni band and jazz band tonight. Westminster will always feel like a second home, but it makes a big difference when all the people who went there with you are there too. I wish hubby was here too, but I think things are going pretty well in Augusta! Only 2 more weeks till I get to go to Georgia and visit!!!

Shirt: Loft / Pants: NY&Co. / Heels: Shoe Show / Earrings: Seattle's Public Market / Scarf: Walmart

This is what I wore yesterday to work. The scarf is perfect for fall, so I decided to bring out the red and brown tones in the rest of the outfit, and its the first time I'm able to wear these new red pants!!!

Lovesong by Adele

It looks sad outside today. So I'm getting stuff done inside today. Sometimes I like this weather so I don't feel bad for staying inside. However the temperature is perfect for open windows. Anyway, today's outfit is actually what I wore on Saturday to pick up hubby from the airport. I thought I'd be cute and wear my Love sweater since I was picking him up :)
Sweater: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: Shoe Show / Earrings: NY&Co.

Up close of L<3VE on my sweater, which is covered by the camera in the outfit photos

I Drive Myself Crazy by N'SYNC

I've been looking up places to live and puppies to adopt in both Tacoma and Augusta. I'm partially doing it so we check them out in person and get ideas of the area while we visit since we're not sure when we'll get back to really look, but partially because I can't wait to have a puppy and a house again. However I find puppies that are adorable and want them so bad.... but they won't be puppies when we move and are able to adopt them. Anyway, I'm getting excited for our future and we find out where we're going mid December!
Shirt: Gap / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Toms / Earrings: Target

Jacket: Old Navy

I love high 60s temperatures. Jeans and sweatshirts are my favorites, but I love this jacket from Old Navy which feels like a hoodie.

A Thousand Years by Christina Perri

Its back to a regular week for me. It is officially fall too because it has drastically cooled down around here, so I'm really glad I got this new scarf! I saw it when I got off the elevator coming down from the top of the Space Needle into the gift shop and fell in love with the color. Its such a pretty shade of purple, so it came home with me... thanks mom! :)

Pictures from Seattle

I meant to post this yesterday, but I was busy getting things ready to have a 12 hour date with hubby. He came home from Seattle at about 10pm and was back at the airport at 11am... ok so we had a 13 hour date, plus the time I was able to be with him at the gate in the airport. Good thing I get to see him again in Augusta in 18 days, but who's counting? Anyway, here are the pictures from our trip to Seattle. If we don't end up moving there, we will definitely be going back to visit!

As you can see we had an awesome trip. Its a great area with a lot to see and do. It was also fun to see our family out there who we don't get to see too often. Now I'm going to get back to the Buffalo/Cleveland game and cheer on my Bills! Since Hubby's not here to cheer for his Browns, I don't need to feel bad for him as we are currently winning :)
