The A Team by Ed Sheeran

Today is the first day since we moved to Weirton almost two years ago that I've subbed music. I used to sub music all the time in Lewisburg, but for some reason have been called for mostly gym and math here. Well I'm glad to be back in my subject and play a musical game all day with the students. After school I'm meeting my mom at the outlet mall, getting dinner, and going to my sister's band concert. It has turned into a girls night due to sickness and work for my dad and hubby.
Sweater: Hollister / Cami: Aeropostale / Pants: New York & Co. / Heels: Shoe Dept. / Earrings: Stella and Dot / Necklace and ring: from Hubby

This is what I wore yesterday for Valentine's Day. I knew I wanted to wear my red pants but wanted to do something different on top. I've done the neutrals with these pants and decided that this blue color worked well. When hubby got home he was super tired, so we exchanged gifts, ordered a pizza, had brownies and champagne, and watched our favorite tv shows. It ended up being a great Valentine's Day!

Today Is Your Day by Shania Twain

Do three day weekends ever confuse you? Today is Wednesday, not Tuesday. This means I need to get everything packed up and ready to go because I leave for Augusta tomorrow! My suitcase is packed with my clothes, but I need to make sure I have everything else ready to go! Its kind of a dreary looking day, so I'm looking forward to the sunshine in Georgia this weekend.
Sweater: Hollister / Cami: Aeropostale / Pants: Macy's / Flats: Shoe Show / Earrings: NY&Co.

I love this sweater which is actually an XS men's sweater. I found it when I worked at Hollister and thought it was incredibly soft, so I tried it on and loved it. Hubby has the same one in a different color :)

One More Night by Maroon 5

Happy Thursday! The weekend starts tomorrow and I am definitely looking forward to it. Its homecoming at Westminster so its the weekend that lots of alumni come back to hang out. I'm excited to see friends and enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
Shirt: Hollister / Pants: Macy's / Flats: Shoe Show / Belt: Charlotte Russe / Earrings: NY&Co. / Glasses: Burberry

Its a rainy day here, so I think the blue is fitting. However, there's a new episode of The Office tonight, so its a good day!!! :)
What are your weekend plans?

Mr. Know It All by Kelly Clarkson

On Sunday I went to a labor day weekend picnic. There was grilling, pot luck sides and deserts, corn hole, and good friends. I had an idea of what I wanted to wear, but then I started playing around with two different cardigans and two shoe options. I really liked all of them, so I decided to take a picture of each. What do you think? Which combination is your favorite?
Cardigan: Hollister / Shirt: American Eagle / Cami: Aeropostale / Shorts: Old Navy / Shoes: gift from friend / Earrings: Walmart

Shoes: Toms

Cardigan: Peebles

I want to to know unbiasedly (did I make up a word?) which combination you like the best, so I'll keep to myself which one I ended up wearing till tomorrow :)

50 Ways To Say Goodbye by Train

This is the last day of this week that hubby has off, so he's sleeping in and then hanging out with me all day. He even agreed to go boot shopping with me! Its my birthday in a week (eeek! I'm almost 25!!!), and my family wants present ideas. I realized that I'm definitely getting excited for fall and fall fashion (see yesterday's link up post to Living in Yellow), and could really use a new pair of boots. So I spent a lot of time last night online looking for boots and I've decided that I'd like to see them in person and try them on before committing to a couple pairs for them to choose from. This way I know that I'm telling them the right size too. :)
Tank: Hollister / Skirt: Gap / Shoes: Sperry / Scarf: Honeymoon purchase / Earrings: Kohl's / Watch: American Eagle

What am I doing wearing a scarf in the hot summer weather? Well stores are always super duper air conditioned, and I really wanted a pop of red in today's outfit. Still feeling Team USA spirit for the Olympics... and always!

(On a side note, today's song title is a ridiculously catchy song and new favorite of mine. But if you listen closely, the tune of the verses is to Phantom of the Opera. Listen. No joke.)

Happy Summer Olympics 2012 Opening Day!

We are headed to my hometown for the weekend. Weekend getaways are basically our vacations for the summer, and hubby and I are loving them! We are also really excited for the Olympics to start tonight... so we'll be leaving as soon as he gets out of work so we can get home in time to watch the opening ceremony. Today's outfit is totally supporting the United States. Go Red, White, and Blue! (I even have a friend on the crew team!)

Hoodie: Hollister / Tank: Hollister / Capris: Abercrombie and Fitch / Flip Flops: Old Navy / Earrings: American Eagle

Temperature by Sean Paul

I'm driving back today. Its another ridiculously hot day, so its a good time to sit in an air conditioned car.... for 5 hours. At least when I get back hubby and I have a date. Too bad he's not coming here so I could swim in the pool all day.

Stay cool!!!

Dunder Mifflin Ad Song from The Office

I am driving home today! It is going to be a very humid 90 degree day, so it'll be nice to sit in my air conditioned car. I'm bummed hubby can't come too, but his test is tomorrow and he starts Plastic Surgery on monday, which he is very excited about. He loves doing surgeries and hasn't been in a surgery rotation for a few months, so he's going to be very happy for the month of July. By the way, today's post title song is real, and hubby started singing it this morning and I can't get it out of my head! "Dunder Mifflin, the people person paper people..."
Tank: Hollister / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: Target / Earrings: Walmart / Necklace: Stella and Dot

This is definitely one of my summer uniforms. Cute, comfy, and casual.

Happy Memorial Day!

I spent the afternoon with some friends by the pool. It was a nice, relaxing day. I am thankful to all in the military who make days like this possible. Especially, my own army man. I love you hubby!
Dress: Hollister / Flip Flops: Abercrombie and Fitch / Bikini and Earrings: Walmart

Earrings that I found for the occasion

I wasn't going to post an outfit today, since I knew I was going to be in bikini... which isn't much of an outfit. However, I like this dress so I decided to use it as a cover up, and therefore the outfit was fine for the blog. I liked the white and blue to be patriotic, and my earrings have red, blue, and silver stars on them. It was a good choice since it was in the 90s today!

I've Been Waiting For You by ABBA

I was looking through the blogs that I have under the Blog Obsessions tab last night. I decided to do some "spring cleaning" since some of them haven't been updated in quite some time. Since I have so many new followers, I was wondering if you would want to be one of the blogs that I have mentioned in my tab (since I follow all of you back!). Its not really a sponsor, but a free way to get some views and hopefully new followers. I always like to check out what blogs other bloggers are reading since most have a blog roll like my tab. So anyway, if you'd like me to put your blog on my tab, please leave a comment, and if you want to do the same back, I'd really appreciate it!!! :)

Ok, so today's post is being posted really late. This is because our internet connection has been so weak and slow that nothing has loaded all day. I finally got it fixed, hence this post being put up! However, I was mad with the internet and ignored my laptop for most of the day. So much so, that I took my outfit pictures with my phone instead of photo booth. These pictures actually turned out better than I expected, and the colors are 100% true, unlike how it sometimes turns out from photo booth. However, I'm holding my phone in these pictures. So I may try different ways of taking outfit pictures this week. The best would be with a really nice camera and tripod (but thats expensive!) or hubby taking them (but he's busy at work or studying a lot). Let me know what you think too!

Shirt: Hollister / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Shoes: Toms / Sweater: Danskin / Turquoise Earrings and bracelet (not really seen in picture): St. Thomas market / Glasses: Burberry

(Yes, this is the same sweater as I wore the other day just in a different color. I miss dance and having a real reason to wear these sweaters.)

I did end up taking the outfit picture with photo booth. There are pros and cons to taking the pictures with my phone and with photo booth. The colors for this particular outfit are better from my phone, but photo booth is not always that off on colors. I do like the blank canvas background I use when I use my laptop and not holding anything in my hand. I do like both pictures... so I might do a little of both to change it up around here.

I'm happy to report our internet is working much better now :)

Chocolate Festival

We are in Lewisburg! We are off to meet some friends for the chocolate festival and do some tastings! I'll take lots of pictures so you can see the goodies we tried! :)

Here's today's outfit. I have been so excited to wear these yellow jeans, and I thought a pretty day like today would be perfect. The first two photos are how I'll probably wear it since it's only going to get up to 71 and we'll be outside all day, but if it gets too warm for long sleeces, the third picture is what I'll change into!
Shirt: Hollister / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Walmart / Bracelet: Viva Beads

Or if it gets really warm:

Have a great Saturday!

Everybody, Everywear: Pastels

Today is pastel day over at Everybody, Everywear. I have a lot more bold colors than pastel colors in my closet, but I recently purchased this top and cami, and loved the combination of the two. This outfit was perfect for a cool spring day of outlet shopping with my mom, sister, and friend yesterday. Today is also Tom's Day Without Shoes, and in honor of that, I wore my Toms, but today I'll go barefoot around the house. Its too cold to be barefoot outside, so I'll stick to my Toms for running errands today.

Sweatshirt: Target / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Hollister / Shoes: Toms / Earrings: Walmart / Bracelet: Viva Beads

My mom bought this for me while we were shopping and it matched my outfit perfectly. They are Viva beads, and my mom, sis, and I all have them. Here's where you can find them. Mine is Blue Bikini.

Already In by Jon McLaughlin

Unlike yesterday, its been a very productive day! I cleaned the apartment, did 2 loads of laundry and am still going, unloaded the dishwasher and put things away, already have things ready to make for dinner, made a few phone calls, and showered and dressed. I may stop and pick up some groceries in a bit too. I'm on roll and I love it! Here is today's very fall like outfit:
Blazer: Tulle / Sweater: Kohl's/ Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Hollister / Heels: Kohl's / Earrings: Kohl's / Watch: Armitron / Glasses: Burberry

Have a great Tuesday!

Happy Together by The Turtles

Ladies and gentleman, I think spring has sprung!!! It is currently 6:00pm and its still 70 degrees!!!! I am so happy about this... more like ecstatic! It was awesome for running errands. I decided to welcome this weather with very spring colors today. I think light pink and teal blue are basically saying its time for Easter eggs and flowers and bunnies and everything happy. These colors are not for mad, angry days, but for joyous, warm days like today. Haha, can you tell I'm happy about this weather?

Shirt: Hollister / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Toms / Scarf: Peebles / Earrings: Walmart / Watch: Armitron

Not thrilled with Ben's choice last night, but I think everyone knew he was going to pick her. Oh well, I hope they are happy together.

Times Like These by Jack Johnson

Its my last day at home by myself, so I've been cleaning and doing laundry. Pup and I will be picking up the family at about 8pm. Its been a nice relaxing time at home, but I'm looking forward to getting back to hubby.... I just with I could bring the pup too!

Its another cold day here. It was snowing this morning, but luckily has stopped. I was actually excited for it to be cold so I could wear my new sweater. I found it at Abercrombie the other day for an amazing price (originally about $70, and I paid $11!!!!!), plus its a really warm, wool sweater. I love a good deal :)

Sweater: Abercrombie and Fitch / Jeans: Hollister / Shoes: Clarks / Necklace: Stella and Dot / Earrings: NY & Co. / Watch: Armitron

Tomorrow we pack up the car and take the ladies back to school!
