Mama's Broken Heart by Miranda Lambert

Happy Hump Day! Yesterday I was super productive and got lots of errands and to do list items taken care of, so today has been kind of lazy. Hubby went to work this morning, and his preceptor told him he could have the day off because he had another visiting student today, so he and I have been enjoying a relaxing morning. I think we're going to work out after his movie on netflix finishes, then I'll be making lasagna for dinner and teaching dance all night. Really not a bad Wednesday.
Shirt: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Shoes: Clarks / Scarf: American Eagle / Watch: American Eagle / Earrings: American Eagle

Jacket: The North Face

I'm seriously ready for spring. It was definitely too cold for a sleeveless top yesterday, but I did it and the scarf and fleece kept me warm. I was hoping if I wore it, spring would come. Well it rained for most of the day and hasn't warmed up much more today although the sun was shining. Grey, overcast days are lame. There, I said it. :)

Troublemaker by Olly Murs

I have good news! My dad is out of the hospital and back home! He was there for a kind of bronchitis, it was never life or death, just a nasty cough that wasn't going away since we were in Hawaii, so thats why I never mentioned it earlier. Anyway, the cough has calmed down a lot and he's feeling much better. He was there for a little over a week, so we're all glad that he's better and back home!
Cardigan: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Ralph Lauren / Earrings: NY&Co.

The cami I'm wearing with this outfit is an off white color. I thought it was a softer color that complimented the brown and the RL design on my shoes. I don't know why I've never paired this cardigan and shoes together before because they are perfect together! The bow on the sweater and the shoe design give this outfit a little bit of shine to step it up from running errands outfit to looking nice to hang out with friends.

Feel This Moment by Pitbull featuring Christina Aguilera

We had a wonderful weekend in Baltimore! Our friend works for a private school and has an apartment there, so that's where we stayed. We got their Friday night, had dinner, met some of his new work friends, and just had a chance to catch up and relax. On Saturday he took us to downtown Baltimore and showed us around. We were able to walk around the Inner Harbor and check out some historical landmarks of Baltimore and go out with some of his friends for the night. On Sunday we visited Johns Hopkins University and Hospital and had dinner at Wegman's (the amazing grocery store from my hometown) market cafe before driving back. Here are some pictures from the weekend:
"The Star Spangled Banner here was made"

A coast guard ship from Pearl Harbour

They love their Old Bay Spice!

Best friends on the pier

A little bit of the Inner Harbour

We found a great restaurant in Little Italy for dinner on Saturday

The trio is reunited!

There's a little bit of chocolate fro yo under my chocolate covered strawberries :)

Walking around Johns Hopkins campus

Hubby loved checking out one of the best hospitals in the world

A little bit of home in Baltimore. I love Wegmans. :)

How was your weekend? What did you do?

Started From The Bottom by Drake

Its finally Friday! Hubby is done with his overnight shifts and back to regular life! We are driving to Baltimore for the weekend to visit our best friend, the one who was roommates with hubby and my friend from day 1 of college. We haven't seen him a lot this year because he moved from Pittsburgh to Baltimore for a job, so we decided to visit him while its only a five hour drive instead of a five hour flight. Its definitely going to be a great weekend!
Sweater: Stradivarius, a store in Spain / Skirt: Banana Republic / Tights: Walmart / Boots: Famous Footwear / Earrings: Stella and Dot / Necklace: gift from Hubby

Sometimes school is very cold in the mid winter. So I decided to wear heavy socks and boots to stay warm. The rest of the outfit was really created around this idea and I love how it turned out! I stayed warm and Hubby even said he liked it a lot. It was definitely a hit!

Radioactive by Imagine Dragons

I love space heaters. I'm subbing high school math today, and the teacher has a heater by her desk. I'm always cold at school, no matter how much I bundle up, so I am currently very content during this planning period with the space heater keeping me warm. I'm going to enjoy reading my book while the snow blows sideways outside. :)
Pullover: Gap / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: NY&Co.

This was another outlets purchase this weekend. The bright neon color caught my eye and I love the holes at the end of the sleeves for my thumbs. I changed into yoga pants and wore this last night to teach dance.

One Way Or Another by One Direction

Since we found out we're moving to Seattle, I've been checking the temperature there everyday, and comparing it to what we have here. Seattle is know as the rainy city, but I've realized why. They don't get very much snow! So yes, they get more rain, because they're not getting snow. They have temperatures in the 40s during the winter instead of the teens - 30s that we have in the North East. So I'm ok with that. I'll carry my umbrella and wear rain boots instead of snow boots. Can you tell I'm ready for it to be spring?
Shirt: Gap / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Boots: Steve Madden / Earrings: Peebles

To counteract the winter, I wore a very springy outfit this weekend. I found this top when I was shopping with my mom on Friday at Gap. I really loved the subtle flower design and the pastel purple color.

Harlem Shake by Baauer

Three day weekends are the best. On Friday after school, I drove up to Westminster, met up with my mom for some shopping at the outlets, dinner, and to see my sister's band concert. Afterwards we went out for desert and were able to enjoy some girl time. After brunch with them on Saturday, I went back home to pick up hubby and meet some friends at the Pittsburgh Auto Show. We really enjoyed checking out all the new cars and picking out our next vehicles. Afterwards we met up with some friends for dinner and drinks to celebrate the DO match. On Sunday, hubby had to sleep all day to be ready to work nights all week, so I met up with some girlfriends for shoe shopping and a hibachi dinner. Yesterday was spent sleeping, cleaning, organizing, and all those other things that usually happen on Sundays. :)
Cardigan: Banana Republic / Shirt: Old Navy / Pants: Macy's / Flats: Shoe Show / Scarf: Abercrombie and Fitch / Earrings: Stella and Dot

I wore something similar a couple weeks ago, but adding the cardigan and scarf made a big difference. And also kept me really warm at school on a cold day!

The A Team by Ed Sheeran

Today is the first day since we moved to Weirton almost two years ago that I've subbed music. I used to sub music all the time in Lewisburg, but for some reason have been called for mostly gym and math here. Well I'm glad to be back in my subject and play a musical game all day with the students. After school I'm meeting my mom at the outlet mall, getting dinner, and going to my sister's band concert. It has turned into a girls night due to sickness and work for my dad and hubby.
Sweater: Hollister / Cami: Aeropostale / Pants: New York & Co. / Heels: Shoe Dept. / Earrings: Stella and Dot / Necklace and ring: from Hubby

This is what I wore yesterday for Valentine's Day. I knew I wanted to wear my red pants but wanted to do something different on top. I've done the neutrals with these pants and decided that this blue color worked well. When hubby got home he was super tired, so we exchanged gifts, ordered a pizza, had brownies and champagne, and watched our favorite tv shows. It ended up being a great Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you are having a lovely day! I'm so happy to spend my seventh Valentine's day with hubby when he gets home from work! In the meantime, I'm going to catch up on this week's episode of The Bachelor and bake a Valentine's day treat! But here's my Valentine to you:
Roses are red,
violets are blue,
sugar is sweet,
and so are you!!!

Shirt: Old Navy / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: Old Navy / Earrings: American Eagle

I know, I know, this is yellow and not pink or red. Well this is what I wore yesterday. My final baseball tee! You have now seen it in green and white, light and dark purple, pink and white, and yellow and white. I told you I loved them!!! And the matching yellow flats were a no-brainer! I'll be sure to share my Valentine's outfit tomorrow :)

Carry On by Fun.

Hubby is doing another rotation in Wheeling, WV which is about 45 minutes from where we live. This hospital has a living quarters for visiting doctors, nurses, and medical students, so he is able to stay there or come home, depending on the time of his shift. He's been doing a little bit of both, but yesterday after school, I decided to drive down and visit him. We went to dinner with another friend who's doing a rotation there and then I stayed with them in their dorm. I was able to have breakfast with him this morning and see a little bit of the hospital before I drove home. It was a nice little evening away from home. :)
Cardigan: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Boots: Crocs / Earrings: Peebles

I seriously loved this outfit. I love wearing different color camisoles to add a pop to an outfit. The black sweater and boots with dark jeans needed a fun bright color to make it interesting. It shows at the bottom of the cardigan as well as at the neckline.

I Will Wait by Mumford and Sons

It is DO match day! Its been two months since the military match. I can't imagine having to wait till today to find out. I've already done so much research on our move to the Pacific Northwest! Anyway, Hubby and I are really excited for all of our med school friends who are finding out today, and hope they all get what they wanted!
Sweater: Gap / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeggings: American Eagle / Boots: Famous Footwear / Earrings: Peebles

I love these pants. The love the mint color and I'm definitely ready for spring! Its actually in the 50s here today, but really windy. However I know there's more snow in our future.

Downtown by Lady Antebellum

It's Friday! I am subbing Phys Ed again then hubby and I are going to my sister's jazz ensemble concert at Westminster. I was in the ensemble for my four years there and loved it. They were hubby's favorite concert to attend back then and now make for a great date night!
Shirt: Gap / Scarf: Gap / Pants: Macy's / Flats: Shoe Show / Earrings: NY&Co.

I love when I have an accessory that really puts an outfit together. When I saw this scarf in the store I fell in love. So much so that I told my mom and hubby about it and got 2 for Christmas! :)

Careless Whisper by George Michael

Today is a pretty great day. The sun is shining, I am subbing a half day of Phys Ed which means I was able to sleep in a bit and feel fully rested at work, hubby is working his last ER shift and gets home early, and our favorite tv shows are on tonight. And it's almost the weekend. And this song title came on the radio today on my way to school. Pretty great day.
Sweater: American Eagle / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Boots: Crocs / Earrings: NY&Co.

Jacket: Columbia

(woops, I know I'm a day late!)

Speaking of the sun shining, it is staying out longer! So in honor of the sun, I wore my yellow pants yesterday :)
