Happy belated Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there! I'm excited that mine will be here this afternoon to be able to celebrate, since they were in Montana yesterday on their way here. Yes, my parents are visiting! They have always helped us move in the past, and didn't really this time, but when you have packers and movers, you don't need much extra help. So they are driving my car (so that Hubby and I could split the driving in his) and planning to help us with the stuff that isn't finished around here yet. And after another trip to IKEA this morning, we might have some building to do when they get here! :)

This outfit was for one of the last cooler days in Weirton, and final day of the dance competition. It was perfect since we did a little walking outside after my dancers were done and before the awards ceremony. This weekend was their recital, which I heard went really well, so I'm proud of my dancers!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend, because we did. Starting Easter weekend, we have something going on every weekend till we move and that means we get to see as many of our friends and family as possible. And we are loving it. This past weekend was unfortunately cold after our week of beautiful weather, but we enjoyed catching up with old friends and being on campus.

This outfit was what I intended to wear on Friday to school. Then the secretary messaged all the substitutes for the day and told us it was Jeans day for $1. So I changed into jeans, but kept the shirt. Its one of my favorite button downs because of the color and fit. And I always think it goes nicely with brown.

I have good news! My dad is out of the hospital and back home! He was there for a kind of bronchitis, it was never life or death, just a nasty cough that wasn't going away since we were in Hawaii, so thats why I never mentioned it earlier. Anyway, the cough has calmed down a lot and he's feeling much better. He was there for a little over a week, so we're all glad that he's better and back home!

The cami I'm wearing with this outfit is an off white color. I thought it was a softer color that complimented the brown and the RL design on my shoes. I don't know why I've never paired this cardigan and shoes together before because they are perfect together! The bow on the sweater and the shoe design give this outfit a little bit of shine to step it up from running errands outfit to looking nice to hang out with friends.

Little Things by One Direction

I have wonderful news! Hubby's brother and his wife had their third child yesterday! We are now aunt and uncle to a beautiful niece, and we get to meet her next week at Thanksgiving! She was born last night, while hubby and I were at the movie, and when we got out of the theatre had a few messages waiting for us. We are very happy and excited for them and can't wait to see them in a week!

This is what I wore to school yesterday. It was only in the high 30s/low 40s so I wanted to bundle up and be as warm as possible. The Ralph Lauren sweater is great for staying warm!

Happy Friday! I am excited to be a featured blogger over at Coming Unstitched today! Today's outfit was what I wore to school this morning, and what I changed into for the rest of my day. I am going to Westminster for my sister's choir fundraiser dinner, Music and Meatballs, and then am headed home for the long weekend. I love that the leaves are changing colors outside and used them as my inspiration for my fall colored outfit today!

This is the second time I'm starting my day. I woke up early to get my oil changed then came home and took a nap. So now I'm feeling a bit more refreshed then I did at 6:30am and ready to have a good day instead of a tired one. So anyway, here's the outfit I wore yesterday in the Thursday Latelies video and out for dinner and drinks with a friend. My friend's husband is in hubby's med school class and is away doing audition rotations, so we're going through the same thing.

The plan today is to run errands and get a chunk of my to-do list finished so that I can spend the next two days hanging out with hubby before he leaves for Tacoma. I can't believe that these audition rotations are here. Before we know it fourth year will be over and he'll be graduating medical school! And then we'll be off to the next location for residency! There are days when this process seems so slow, but overall its going faster than I expected. In other news, one of our school districts started school today and the others will be starting next week. This also means students will be signing back up for dance so I'll definitely be busier starting in the next few weeks, but looking forward to it!

I love everything about this outfit. I wore it to band camp when I visited on Tuesday with my friend. Surprisingly it cooled down a lot that night, so luckily I had bought a new cardigan at the outlets earlier that day so I could wear it when we watched them practice outside. Can't wait to show you that too! My back to school shopping is done! However I'm waiting for slightly cooler temperatures to wear most of it....

This morning I am headed to Best Buy to get an external hard drive, then to Starbucks to hang out with a friend while my Macbook backs up on the hard drive, and then to Apple to get it fixed. Keep your fingers crossed that it gets fixed today! Once that's done, it should be a relaxing afternoon and I'm hoping to get some reading done. I'm glad to have this relaxing day after working at the dance studio all day yesterday.

I went to a tent sale today for Fiesta ware. Fiesta ware is made in Newell, WV which is only about 20 minutes away, and they have an amazing tent sale twice a year. I picked up some things for a friend who's getting married, as well as some things for myself... some plates and bowls. I may be going back tomorrow with a friend. I'm glad I didn't wear sleeves today because it was hot waiting in line!

A$$ Back Home by Gym Class Heroes

This afternoon I'm going to Westminster's graduation. The seniors that are graduating were freshman when I was a senior there, and I have a few close friends in that class, so I'm going to see them! Its also a really nice excuse to sit outside in the sun for a few hours. Also, I have never been to an outdoor graduation, since mine and the ones around it were inside due to weather. So I'm excited to see what its like outside on senior terrace.

This outfit is what I wore to lunch yesterday. It was freezing cold in the restaurant, but really nice outside, so I like having a light jacket on hand. The tank is also new from last weekend. It was a really good deal from Old Navy :)

Its the perfect day for a casual friday. I like this outfit for being comfortable and relaxed, yet the button up and shiny flats dress up the jeans a little bit. The perfect outfit for dinner and a choir concert with the family tonight.

Its been a nice relaxing day of cuddling on the couch and watching The Office with hubby. Now I'm off to Westminster with a few friends for tonight's initiation for my sister and her pledge class into Kappa Delta. We wear white dresses for our special KD events, so I decided to style it differently for the day, and take off the green accessories for the initiation. I wore green and white since those are our colors :)
