Just One Of Those Things by Nat King Cole

It was a stormy, rainy morning, which made me decide to wear something bright and happy to counteract the mood from the weather. Its been a clean up, laundry, and take a nap kind of day. Currently there are homemade meatballs in the oven and some water boiling for pasta. Hubby just came home and is pretty tired. He delivered a baby all by himself today! So I think we'll put in a movie and lay on the couch tonight. Have you seen The Descendants? I just got in the mail from netflix. :)

I liked this outfit so I had fun taking pictures of it.

Haven't done a "headshot" lately, and I decided this was a good choice for a new summery look for the blog's facebook page. Do you like pictures and a thousand words on facebook? Please do!

  1. Sometimes a bright outfit is exact what you need to combat the weather. I love the casual chic vibe of this! The cuffed jeans and flats are super cute, and I love how you added the scarf and accessories. Adorable! I've never seen The Descendants, but I've heard good things!

  3. Loving the infinity scarf, Di! :) You are right--today was a bit crazy outfit and that outfit definitely brightens things up.

I need to start doing the outfit pictures for my new blog too. Any advice? :)

    1. Welcome to the blogging world Marissa!!! There's lots of ways to take outfit pictures, I used to use photo booth on my mac, but now I use my camera and full length mirror because the pictures are clearer and brighter. I recommend trying out a few different ways to take pictures in front of different backgrounds till you find the right one. Some people prefer them outside, but its easier to do them inside.

Btw, your blog is awesome! I just checked it out, and added it to my Blog Obsessions :)
