God Bless America

Today is a day of many emotions. First, it is the 10th anniversary of 9/11. I can remember being a freshman in high school sitting in french class watching the tv. Our french teacher's children lived in NYC at the time, but luckily were safe and far from the world trade center. We all felt the shock and sadness. Last night as we watched footage from that morning, I remembered how when the first plane hit, they thought it was an accident. When the second plane hit was when the nation knew these were attacks, and when the towers fell was complete devastation. However, this did not divide our nation, but brought us together. God Bless the fallen heroes and our wonderful nation.

On a happier note, today was the official start of football season. I was thrilled to watch the Buffalo Bills start the season out with a huge win against Kansas City. This is already a night and day difference to last year's record. Let's Go Buffalo!!!

Here's what I wore to church this morning, brunch, and errands. The hubby and I decided to attend the church where his surgery preceptor is a member. It was a good day to be there and reflect on 9/11 as one nation under God.
