I mentioned the other day that we had friends come visit us this week. They are residency friends who are moving to Germany and driving cross country to visit family and friends before their flight from the east coast. I'm so glad they were able to stop here on their way! The day they arrived we took them to see hubby's office and when Emma was napping, Andy volunteered to stay home so Kristen and I could go out and get mani/pedis! Then we had tacos for dinner at home and just hung out catching up. Wednesday, we took the dogs to the dog park to let them run around, drove around the post and our new town, and met our other resident friend who lives here for hibachi dinner! Emma loved watching the food being prepared, especially since they start with fire! Thursday was their last day and they had to try the local BBQ! We also took them to the pool since its Emma's favorite place. I made our favorite summer dinner and we watched stand up comedy till it was time for them to pack and go to bed. It was a pretty relaxed couple of days since allergies flared up and I didn't want them to have to drive around in the car for more than they already had been! I really hope we can fly out to Germany to visit them sometime soon!
