It seems to be one of the hottest days of the year and the hottest week of the summer. It makes me want to stay inside in the AC, so thats just what I did today. I finally updated and reorganized my teaching portfolio so I can call the local school districts for substitute jobs, since there are no music teacher openings nearby. I am very proud of my portfolio and am excited to be employed again soon!
Other than that, I started packing for the long weekend home. My little sister is doing Les Miserables so I am going to see her and hang out with the family. Its also time for me to clean up and organize my bedroom at home so that its a nice guest room instead of a mess of things I am not using. This weekend also means another time to hang out at our cottage on the lake... one of the best things to do in the summer!
Since it was hot, shorts and a tank were the ideal outfit. Check out my new white shorts :)

Now time to enjoy a relaxing evening with the hubster!
omg ur not kidding about it being HOT! i can't stand to be outside at alllllll. have fun at home this weekend! (hopefully it'll be a little cooler) lol the weatherman on tv referred tomorrow's forcast of "just" 90 degrees as a COLDFRONT!!!!!!!!! LOL
