Have you ever done the 30x30 remix? (You pick out 30 items in your closet to remix and wear over 30 days... originally created by Kendi.) Well I have discovered that for our 8 day trip to visit hubby in Tacoma, we will only be bringing carry on luggage, since I have no interest in paying for a checked bag. So I've decided to turn this into a challenge to myself. I have picked out the small suitcase that fits in the overhead compartment, and now I need to pick out what I can fill it with. I think doing an 8x8 remix would be silly, since 8 items is definitely not enough, but I plan to limit what I bring and keep everything in the same color scheme so it all matches and can be easily remixed. Any suggestions on how many pieces I should try to stick to?

Blue and white is a no brainer combination coming from my closet. This outfit worked great for the hot and cooler temperatures we had yesterday due to it being summer and rainy. And its been awhile since my glasses have been in an outfit post, so my eyes are enjoying the time away from my contacts. :)
