Yesterday morning I took hubby to the airport. I decided to park and go in with him, thinking we'd say our goodbyes before he went through security. Surprisingly, at the check-in counter, the attendant asked if I wanted to go to the gate with him, handed me a special pass and told us to go through the special security line. That was so awesome! It was nice to be able to spend an extra hour with him before he left.
Here is he in his uniform. Since his audition rotation is considered active duty, he wore it on the plane and will be wearing them for the four weeks he's on base. That's why he was able to get special treatment and have his wife with him till he boarded. Doesn't he look cute?
