Stay by Rihanna

This weekend was a relaxing one with my family. We picked up my sister for her spring break on Friday and went home to NY. It was a weekend of sleeping in, helping out around the house, doing laundry, hanging out with the family, drinking wine, and watching movies. Since my dad is home from the hospital, he and hubby discussed his hospital visit, medications, and what it really all means. Its Medical Monday over at Your Doctor's Wife, and I have to say that a huge benefit of hubby's career choice is when he can have these discussions. He was very helpful to better explain what was going on while my dad was in the hospital. I'm so proud of all that he has learned in school and am so excited that graduation is less than three months away!!!
Shirt: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Boots: Famous Footwear / Earrings: NY&Co.

It was a cold, snowy weekend, so boots were a must. And baseball tees and jeans are comfortable, so this outfit was the perfect combination for our relaxing weekend at home.
And here a few snapshots from the weekend:
Moscato for me, Chardonnay for my mom, and Sparkling grape juice for my sister.

Lunch with the family at Applebee's

Serious nachos!

  1. You are too cute! Glad to hear your father is doing okay. I can't tell you how many times Doc H has had to explain all my father's lab results to him. It's such a blessing to have a doctor in the family when someone is sick or in need of medical attention!!
So Happy to see you on the MM bloghop grid again this month!!

  3. Thanks for linking up with us again, it is so fun to see familiar faces. You have identified one of the best perks of being married to someone who is in medicine - they help bring comfort and interpretation to our family and friends! Graduation is right around the corner!
