Stuck Like Glue by Sugarland

Kiddos were back today. I had 11, including a girl who hasn't been there since December because of leg surgery. The last mom to pick up their child is a teacher, and as we were walking out, she mentioned to me that her daughter is singing more and she can tell I'm a music teacher. That made me happy to know that even in a regular classroom I can incorporate music, and its making a difference.

Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day and we have asked all the kiddos to wear green. I'm already going through all the green in my closet picking out what to wear tomorrow. Yes, green is one of my favorite colors, so I do have a lot of it. Let's see how creative I can be :)

Anyway, here's today's outfit. Similar to one I've worn before, but I was excited about wearing my wide leg trousers.

I Run to You by Lady Antebellum

I'm glad I have found Polyvore. I came home from the kiddie fair and went right to sleep. When I woke up, I felt awful and realized I needed to take the night off from choir and change into PJs. I hate having a head cold!!!! Anyway, I had something to eat which definitely helped. I decided to start cleaning up some of the house and I started to feel better. So I decided to not abandon the blog today and post the polyvore of what I wore today instead of my picture.

Here you go:

Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow to take a picture and write more!!! :)

If I Die Young by The Band Perry

I did a lot of work today. We had a kiddie fair today to sign up new kiddos for next year and do screenings and testings. I tested probably close to 30 kids today on fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social-emotional, communication, and problem solving. I was told that we had over 83 future students come today. I'm glad there were multiple teachers doing my test, because there's no way I could have done them all!

I am also not feeling 100%, so now I'm pooped. Luckily, I have an awesome husband who did the dishes for me today and is going to get some groceries tonight.

However, I will not be going right to bed, because it is the final episode of The Bachelor!!!! Tonight he chooses between Chantal and Emily. I can't tell who's he's going to pick, because I've heard different things about who he chooses, and the future Bachelorette. So, I'm not going to pick a winner. I think he should be happy with whomever he chooses.

Today's outfit was casual. I don't have the embroidered Headstart/PreK polo shirt that everyone else has, so I got to wear whatever I wanted:

Shirt: Macy's / Jeans: Unionbay / Shoes: Shoe Show

Another Openin' Another Show from Kiss Me Kate

I'm off to New Castle, PA for the night to see a friend. She is the director of the high school's musical where I student taught. She and I worked together doing the show while I was there, found out we were both Kappa Delta's, and have been good friends ever since. I'm excited to see all her hard work pay off tonight!

I was playing around with my outfit today. I bought the sweater last weekend out with the girls and have been excited to see what I can do with it. Here are some of my options:

Sweater: Gap / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Hollister / Shoes: Steve Madden / Watch: American Eagle
Pearls: SuperSale at school

Scarf: Old Navy

Belt: came with a dress

I decided to wear option #2 with the scarf. I hear there's snow on the ground in PA, so I figured I'd wear the warmest option. Have a great Saturday!

Everything by Michael Buble

TGIF!!!! Working everyday makes you really appreciate the weekends.

Today the kiddos had some listening issues. They wouldn't listen! Sometimes, you have to get right in their face for them to realize you are talking to them. I think they are ready for the weekend too.

We lose an hour this weekend, which is not fun at all. My favorite day of the year is when we have 25 hours and I always feel accomplished, but having 23 hours is just not enough. At least I can sleep in on Monday, since we have a Kiddie Fair that doesn't start till 11am.

Today was a casual friday for me. I wasn't entirely sure what to wear today, but figured out something that would keep me warm. It was supposed to snow 2-5 inches last night, and well we didn't get anything. Its always such a letdown when there's a lot of hype about the weather and it doesn't happen.

Jacket: not sure / Turtleneck: Stradivarius (a store in Spain) / Jeans: Hollister / Shoes: American Eagle / Watch: American Eagle

I'm trying to be serious here....

This is an open jacket view...

This is what the outfit looks like laid out the night before. Imagine the purple zip up hoodie has the fleur de lis printed on it... the only one I could find said Gap.

Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap

One more day till the weekend! We might even have a snow day tomorrow and therefore a 3 day weekend. I'd rather have a 2 hour delay, so that I still get paid for the day... and so the kids can learn, since they've already had so many snow days and only so many make up days.

Today was pretty normal. Most of the high school kids were not in school today (about less than 200 were in attendance) because they went to cheer on the Varsity girls basketball team at their state competition in Charleston. The head coach reserved 20 coach buses to pick them up and take them to the game, have lunch, and bring them back. Sadly, they lost... and by almost 20 points. We enjoyed a much quieter day, and no chances of the high school kids distracting or running into my small children as we walk through the halls to the cafeteria and gym.

I've been really good about picking out my outfits the night before, or at least having an idea of what to wear. Today was not the case. I had nothing planned or picked out, so I figured out what to wear while I was in the shower. It worked out pretty well though, because I was comfortable and thought it went together well. Here it is:

Cardigan: Peebles / Shirt: Gap / Pants: Peebles / Shoes: Steve Madden

I think yellow and greyish/black go well together. I love how bright this shirt is. Doesn't mean I like the steelers ;)

So bummed tonight's episode of The Office is a rerun, as well as Grey's Anatomy! Oh well, perfect time to do some laundry!

What the *H-e-double hockey sticks* by Avril Lavigne

Just so you know, I made today's song title PG. :)

Its definitely the middle of the week, because I am getting tired. I can make it through the school day fine, but when I get home, I just want to nap. This conflicts with my after school activities such as zumba, choir, jazz orchestra, cleaning, or catching up on tv shows. I was watching The Bachelor from Monday and fell asleep at 4:40, which doesn't make getting to my 5:00 zumba class very easy. However the hubster woke me up and I did force myself to go and was just a few minutes late.

I had plans to make dinner tonight, but have no issues with making it tomorrow instead since we're going to a friends for pizza and a movie. I really can't complain about that :)

Anyway, here's today's outfit. The sweater is kind of a light purple/grey color. I changed the shirt I had underneath it 3 times, but was happy with what I picked.

Sweater: Gap / Lace Shirt: Peebles / Cami: Aerie / Pants: JCPenney / Shoes: BareTraps / Watch: American Eagle

Here's a close up of the lace:

Off to eat pizza!!!!
