Lost photos

I realized when I was looking through posts on the blog that there were outfit pictures I took that ended up in drafts and never posted. They were never posted because I didn't have the time to write anything to go with the pictures. So I decided that before I get into current topics and outfit pictures, I'd share some of the old ones that never made it out! Just a little nostalgia (maybe for my pre-pregnancy body, lol) of some things I have worn in the past year, all taken from the old townhouse, not the new house.

Clarity by Zedd

Happy belated Fathers Day to all the Dad's out there! I'm excited that mine will be here this afternoon to be able to celebrate, since they were in Montana yesterday on their way here. Yes, my parents are visiting! They have always helped us move in the past, and didn't really this time, but when you have packers and movers, you don't need much extra help. So they are driving my car (so that Hubby and I could split the driving in his) and planning to help us with the stuff that isn't finished around here yet. And after another trip to IKEA this morning, we might have some building to do when they get here! :)
Shirt: Wet Seal / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Clarks / Sweater: Ralph Lauren / Earrings: Stella and Dot

This outfit was for one of the last cooler days in Weirton, and final day of the dance competition. It was perfect since we did a little walking outside after my dancers were done and before the awards ceremony. This weekend was their recital, which I heard went really well, so I'm proud of my dancers!

I'm A Keeper by The Band Perry

Well spring break is over and I'm back to work. Today I'm subbing high school math. After school I'm looking forward to a relaxing evening of making dinner and sitting on the couch and watching my favorite tv shows with Hubby. Sounds like a perfect little Thursday. Speaking of dinner, I haven't done a kitchen adventures post in awhile. So look out for that. There will be one soon!
Sweatshirt: Target / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: Target

Jacket: The North Face

I wore this the other day to run some errands. I'm ready for the weather to be warm enough that I don't need to add the fleece jacket to be comfortable outside. I do however love wearing sweatshirts and jeans and being super comfortable, as I was in this outfit :)

Radioactive by Imagine Dragons

I love space heaters. I'm subbing high school math today, and the teacher has a heater by her desk. I'm always cold at school, no matter how much I bundle up, so I am currently very content during this planning period with the space heater keeping me warm. I'm going to enjoy reading my book while the snow blows sideways outside. :)
Pullover: Gap / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: NY&Co.

This was another outlets purchase this weekend. The bright neon color caught my eye and I love the holes at the end of the sleeves for my thumbs. I changed into yoga pants and wore this last night to teach dance.

More Time by Need to Breathe

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! It was a whirlwind break spending the past three days with as many family members as possible, but it was great to see everyone and enjoy multiple turkey dinners! We are packing up to head home this afternoon, so I'll keep it short and sweet.
Sweater: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Peebles / Scarf: Macy's / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: Etsy

The inspiration for this outfit came from pinterest. I have seen this photo and recognized that I had the same sweater in a different color and loved the pop of color from the scarf against it. So here's my version of the same pieces in different colors.

Diamonds by Rihanna

We are less than a month away from finding out where residency will be next year! Can you tell I'm anxious and excited? Its only deciding where I will live for the next six years! But back to today, hubby and I are going to see Skyfall tonight! I may need to take a nap after school to stay awake for it, but we've heard great things about the latest James Bond so we're excited to see it.
Sweater: Banana Republic / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Clarks / Belt: Loft / Earrings: NY&Co.

Purse: Vera Bradley

I was really happy with how this outfit turned out. I started out with a basic sweater and jeans combination and decided to add a pop of color with the pink belt, earrings, and even pink socks! And of course the Vera Bradley purse :)

Cruise by Florida Georgia Line

One of my favorite things about my new iPhone is the blogger app. I am currently at school typing this blog post. No worries, the students aren't here yet. However when they do arrive we will be watching The Watcher in the Woods all day. Ah, the life of a substitute teacher :)
Shirt: Target / Jeans: American Eagle / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: NY&Co.

I wore this shirt the other day under my Army sweatshirt. I really love it and the bright pink bird print. So I did a load of laundry the other day and decided to wear it again!

Crescent City by Youngblood Brass Band

Tomorrow I'll post pictures from our trip. I guess I missed posting two days during the trip, so I still have an outfit picture from it! I'm glad I packed layers because it was always cool in the morning, warm in the afternoon, and cool at night again. However when it said it was 80 degrees, it was the coolest 80 I've ever experienced. This cardigan and tank combination was perfect for that.
Cardigan: Old Navy / Tank: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: Bridesmaid gift

Hope you have a great Friday! I'm off to TGIFriday's with some girlfriends for dinner tonight. Tomorrow night I pick up hubby from the airport for about 12 hours.... the military sends them home between rotations, even if its not for a whole day.... we get to have breakfast together :)

Headed Home!

We are headed back to Pittsburgh today. I'm actually writing this post from the Seattle airport. Our first stop is to Phoenix and we arrive in Pittsburgh late tonight. We had a great trip, seeing hubby and the base, checking out the area we could possibly be moving to, visiting with family, and seeing the sights of Seattle. It was very successful and definitely high on our list for potential new locations to call home.

Sweater: Old Navy / Jeans: American Eagle / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: Etsy

This is one of my new favorite Old Navy sweaters. I saw it on a few other bloggers and knew I had to have it! :)

Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin

Something really cool happened yesterday... we saw Steven Spielberg!!!!! We went to the famers market in Tacoma for lunch and saw him doing some shopping. One of the vendors pointed him out to us, otherwise he blended in as regular shopper. I was able to snap a photo, which you'll see in a few days. Today we are visiting my uncle. After spending the afternoon with him, we are meeting up with hubby and keeping him for the weekend! Then the weekend will be spent exploring Seattle with my uncle and my cousins!
Shirt: American Eagle / Jeans: American Eagle / Scarf: Old Navy / Shoes: Clarks / Earrings: NY&Co.

The places we know to go to in Seattle are the public market, the original starbucks, and the space needle. We'd like to get to Mt. Ranier too. And I looked up places that Man vs. Food and the Food Network have gone to visit, so that we can too! Let me know if you have any suggestions that we just can't miss!!!

The Space Between by Dave Matthews Band

Its hubby's last day before he leaves, so he's packing this morning so we can relax and enjoy each other's company for the rest of the day. We have to head to the airport at 4am tomorrow, so its an early night in for us making dinner together and watching a movie on netflix. I'm sad he won't be here, but I'm really excited to go visit him!

Everybody, Everywear: Nautical

The theme this week at Everybody, Everywear is Nautical. What is more nautical than stripes, boat shoes, green and navy?! Everything about this outfit is something I would wear while boating. Speaking of boating, I am ready for it to be officially summer so we can go boating!!!

Shirt: Loft / Jeans: American Eagle / Shoes: Clarks / Scarf: Old Navy / Earrings: Walmart / Watch: American Eagle / Bracelet: Viva Beads

(the big one is for everybody everywear)

Time for me to go try on my bridesmaid dress for a fitting today!!!! So excited to see what it actually looks like on me :)

A Moment With Me by Harry Connick Jr.

Its been a relaxing week here. I always come up with things to do on days that I don't work, although sometimes thats hard to do. The apartment is clean, the laundry is done, and the dishwasher is in cycle. I stopped at the bank and to pick up a few things to make dinner tonight. Now dinner is done, and I'm waiting for hubby to come home so we can eat it! (It smells amazing in my apartment right now... I wish you were here to smell it too!)
Tank: Aeropostale / Cardigan: Old Navy / Pants: Macy's / Heels: Clarks / Earrings: Charlotte Russe / Necklace: Stella and Dot

I decided I wanted to wear these black pants today because they are super comfortable. Like almost as good as sweatpants, but they're dress pants. Then I really wanted to wear this cami, but show it off more than I have the past couple times I've worn it. I think this outfit would look great with my black pencil skirt as well. However, just the cami is not really work appropriate, so it was really cute and comfortable to wear around the apartment and to run errands today. Plus, I love the colors!!!

Times Like These by Jack Johnson

Its my last day at home by myself, so I've been cleaning and doing laundry. Pup and I will be picking up the family at about 8pm. Its been a nice relaxing time at home, but I'm looking forward to getting back to hubby.... I just with I could bring the pup too!

Its another cold day here. It was snowing this morning, but luckily has stopped. I was actually excited for it to be cold so I could wear my new sweater. I found it at Abercrombie the other day for an amazing price (originally about $70, and I paid $11!!!!!), plus its a really warm, wool sweater. I love a good deal :)

Sweater: Abercrombie and Fitch / Jeans: Hollister / Shoes: Clarks / Necklace: Stella and Dot / Earrings: NY & Co. / Watch: Armitron

Tomorrow we pack up the car and take the ladies back to school!
