Sunny and 75 by Joe Nichols

Happy Hump Day! It seems that the "rainy season" has started here in the Pacific Northwest. Nothing like a cool, rainy morning to make you want to stay in bed all day cuddled up with Hubby and the puppy, but its a Wednesday not a weekend, so we're both off to work. But the weather says a sunny and 64 degree day tomorrow on my day off, so I'll take it! I'll be doing some cleaning for our upcoming house guest - medical school friend who's doing an audition rotation/interview at Hubby's hospital - but will be productive because little Bentley is getting neutered and will be at the vet all day. My poor little baby boy...

Tank: H&M / Cami: Aeropostale / Pants: Abercrombie and Fitch / Flats: American Eagle / Earrings: American Eagle

This was a great summer outfit. I love this tank top and the sheerness on top. I usually think to pair orange with navy like Syracuse colors or with black like Halloween colors. I've also recently paired it with pink that I'll share soon.

Live It Up by Jennifer Lopez

This is our last week in West Virginia! I am subbing high school chemistry today and tomorrow we are driving down to Lewisburg for graduation week! It's weird to think a week from now we'll be driving across the country to our next adventure!
Pullover: Gap / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: Old Navy / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Stella and Dot

I love this outfit. Colored jeans are my favorite. I didn't want to go overboard on color so I matched my shoes and shirt. This outfit is incredibly comfortable and easy yet totally put together and cute.

Home by Dierks Bentley

Hubby is done with his last rotation of medical school! Besides some paperwork, all he has left to do is to graduate in a month!!!! I can't believe medical school is almost a thing of our past. I'm so proud of all that Hubby has learned and accomplished in these four years. Now he has even more work to do in his six years of residency. He's going to be an amazing surgeon. But for the next month, I'm going to enjoy him being home to hang out with and help get everything ready for the move, starting with house hunting next week!
Shirt: Abercrombie and Fitch / Jeans: Gap / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Peebles

It was a beautiful day yesterday that felt like summer, so the white pants had to make their debut of the year. This outfit is pretty simple but put together. It was a great choice to run errands and meet friends to get manicures and dinner! The brides fingers and toes look beautiful and we're all excited for tomorrow!

Here's To Never Growing Up by Avril Lavigne

Its that time again. I'm subbing middle school social studies and then its the weekend. Have any fun plans? Hubby and I are going to Westminster tomorrow for his fraternity's alumni reunion weekend. It'll be a fun time with old friends, new friends, and my little sister. We may have all graduated, but its always fun to pretend you're still in college when you're back at your alma mater with the friends you made there. :)
Shirt: Old Navy / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Hawaii

You can't go wrong with an outfit full of favorites. Favorite baseball tee, favorite color, a pair of jeans and flats.... if you want to feel comfortable, wear your favorite things! :)

Just Keep Breathing by We The Kings

The orders have been received. That means the little details about our move to Fort Lewis can be made. So that means I need to read them thoroughly, figure out what all the acronyms stand for, and start making the arrangements. Hubby has one more week of rotations, and then he can help me out with it. Plus the week after he's done, we are headed to Seattle to check out housing. So things around here are going to be changing. Hubby's going to be home (yay!!!) and we'll be making things happen for the move. Bring it on!
Sweater: American Eagle / Shorts: Old Navy / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Peebles

Do you see this?! I'm wearing shorts!!! I am wearing long sleeves, but they're light and just to keep me from freezing while running errands in stores that blast their air conditioning as soon as the temperature is over 70 degrees. I kept the outfit simple for just a day of errands and teaching dance. To dress it up for date night, I would add a belt and either black flats or heels.

Can't Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis

We are starting our Easter weekend early. Tonight when hubby gets home we are leaving to spend the weekend with family. We are taking full advantage of driving home for holidays while we still can, and this is the last one. However, we will be able to fly home for holidays, so its not like we'll never be home for holidays again!
Shirt: Target / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Walmart / Necklace: American Eagle

I'm pretending its warm enough to wear jeans rolled up like this. It is in our apartment, just not outside. But I'm starting off the weekend with yellow, pink, and green, and am planning on wearing fun colors all Easter weekend. Its spring whether the weather cooperates or not!

The Nutcracker Ballet by Tchaikovsky

Last week was really busy and this week isn't slowing down till we leave for the holidays. I feel like my to-do list is never ending right now, but I know it'll all get done by the end of the week. One thing that is done is our dance studio's Christmas recital. We had it at the studio on Saturday, and my dancers did a great job! For the most part, we took the dances we've been working on and put them to Christmas songs. Now this week we can get back to their original songs and continue choreographing.
Tank: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Pants: Macy's / Shoes: Shoe Show / Earrings: Walmart

Blazer: H&M

This is what I wore to the studio's Christmas recital. All my students were either wearing red or white, so I wore green. This is the first time they've seen me dressed up and not in sweatpants, and I got a lot of compliments on the blazer. It is a pretty great blazer :)

It's Time by Imagine Dragons

Last week I was at the mall looking for a birthday present for our new niece. I noticed that H&M was putting up their Black Friday sales early, so I went in to check it out. That's when I found this blazer. Originally $39.50, it was now on sale for $15!!!! I immediately picked one up, tried it on, and was sold. When I brought it home and showed hubby, he was very impressed. It fits perfectly, doesn't look cheap, and I love the color, so therefore I decided it was perfect for our family's Christmas card picture this year!
Blazer: H&M / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: Shoe Show / Earrings: NY&Co.

Not bad for a tripod and timer on my camera! I did a little cropping and editing before putting the picture into one of the cards on Shutterfly. Happy Holidays from my family and I!

Hard to Love by Lee Brice

Our warm weather is over and its going to be cold and rainy for the next few days. Are you being affected by Sandy? We were supposed to get snow next week but the forecast has changed back to rain, so I'm a little happy about that. Its still October, I'm not ready for snow yet! Today's outfit is actually what I wore to school on Thursday. It was in the 80s and this outfit was perfect for it. I got compliments from some of my students and hubby too, so I think it was a winner!
Shirt: Old Navy / Skirt: H&M / Heels: Bandolino / Earrings: NY&Co. / Watch: American Eagle

Any suggestions for what to be for Halloween? We're going to a dress up party tonight and hubby, my sister, and I have no idea what to go as. We'll be figuring out costumes this afternoon.

Even If It Breaks Your Heart by Eli Young Band

I am writing this post from my lunch break subbing high school gym. I never know what to wear when subbing gym class because if I dress down I look like one if the students but I look stupid being dressed up for gym class. I decided I would wear jeans today when I realized that my white jeans would be a good compromise of relaxed and professional. I've also been waiting for the perfect time to wear my new chambray shirt and loved the combination with white pants. So I'm pretty happy with today's outfit choice.
Shirt: Old Navy / Jeans: Gap / Flats: H&M / Earrings: NY&Co.

Hope you have a great weekend! My sister is spending the weekend with us because it's her very short fall break. We have lots of fun planned :)

State of Grace by Taylor Swift

This is my last outfit from our trip to Augusta. I brought two pairs of shoes for this trip, my blue and green flats, so my outfits were created around them, hence multiple green and blue outfits with lots of white pieces. Back in Weirton its going to be in the 60s for the rest of the week, so this will be the last time I wear shorts till our Christmas vacation in Hawaii.
Shirt: Abercrombie and Fitch / Shorts: Old Navy / Flats: H&M / Earrings: NY&Co.

Now its back to reality... tackling the to-do list and teaching dance tonight.
And great news!!! Hubby is coming home on Saturday instead of Sunday!!! :)

Catch My Breath by Kelly Clarkson

We are leaving Augusta today. Its been a great long weekend trip! We were successful in exploring the area and finding possible future housing. I'm thankful to my parents for making this trip happen and I'm glad my brother was able to meet up with us too! And this is the last week of hubby's audition rotations... he comes home Sunday!!!!! I can't wait to pick him up and keep him this time.
Cardigan: Banana Republic / Tank: Old Navy / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Etsy

I love this floral tank. It has so many colors in it that it goes with so many outfits. Since its warmer in Augusta, I had to bring this one with me :)

Come Wake Me Up by Rascal Flatts

Hello from Fort Gordon! Yesterday was spent mostly hanging out on base at their Oktoberfest and driving around to see the area. It's been great weather and fun to hang out with hubby, my parents, and brother. Not sure what our plan is today so if you have any recommendations for Augusta, GA, please let me know!
Tank: Old Navy / Capris: Abercrombie and Fitch / Flats: H&M / Scarf: American Eagle / Earrings: NY&Co.

I decided to be patriotic and carry a red purse with this blue and white outfit :)

Skyfall by Adele

We made it to Augusta! So far it's been very pretty and warmer temperatures. We went to PF Changs for dinner last night and then hubby came back with us to our hotel to hang out and watch the vice presidential debate... which put me to sleep. Today we plan to drive around to see more of the area. Tonight my brother arrives to spend the weekend with us. We'll be looking for BBQ and frozen yogurt :)
Shirt: Old Navy / Shorts: Old Navy / Flats: H&M / Earrings: Etsy

I love this baseball tee. It's comfortable and light which is perfect for the weather here. And still available at old navy!

When I Come Around by Green Day

Tomorrow I am flying out to Seattle for the week! I am so excited to visit hubby since he's been gone for two weeks now. My parents are driving down tonight and flying out with me tomorrow. This is going to be a little vacation for us and we plan on doing all the tourist type things while we're there. If you have any recommendations of what to do in Seattle, please let me know!!!
Shirt: Old Navy / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: H&M / Earrings: NY&Co. / Watch: American Eagle

Today will be spent finishing packing, teaching dance, and hanging out with my parents. Tomorrow's post will be about what I packed for the week. :)

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift

I had my first sub job of the new school year today! It was for high school biology and we watched videos on planet earth. They were pretty cool and the students were great. Now its currently storming thanks to Isaac and I'm heating up a pizza. After dinner there will be some blanket cuddling and book reading. Nice little Tuesday :)
Tank: Old Navy / Cami: Aeropostale / Jeans: American Eagle / Flats: H&M / Earrings and Necklace: Bridesmaid Gift

This tank is new and one of my new loves. I did not wear this outfit to school today... I'll post that one of these days. Since I took the weekend off by accident, I have a few to catch up first! And the post title is one catchy little song by T. Swift.... love it!
