I subbed a third grade classroom today. I got the phone call for this job 2 weeks ago! I was glad this wasn't a late call since the school is 45 minutes from my apartment! It also decided to warm up yesterday and was in the high 50s today (although rainy), so I was excited to be warm enough to wear a skirt.

This weekend I went to two football games, of which both teams I cheered for lost. So here's hoping that tonight when I go to a friend's house to cheer on her Minnesota Vikings, they win! That's why I'm dressed in purple today.

Hubby came home last night! His preceptor is off to Chicago today, so he came home a day early! We are off to Westminster for the weekend to visit my family, go to the wind ensemble concert tonight, and the last football game tomorrow. We are getting some outlet shopping in there too :) Also, you will be getting a sneak peak of our christmas photo sometime this weekend.

Yesterday I wrote that I was going to dye my hair. Well I did. And the box was supposed to be one shade darker than it was. Well, it turned out much darker than expected. And I missed a few spots. It was patchy blonde spots in a reddish brown color everywhere else. Needless to say, I was super freaked out. I then went to the salon at the JCPenney nearby (recommended by a friend) and they saved the day. My stylist brought out a book of different hair colors and we decided that the color of my roots with the new color looked good, but we should go over my whole head with that color. I also hadn't wanted to go that dark, so we decided highlights was a good compromise. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. 

Here's the new color. My desk lamp makes it look lighter than it is in real life, but you get the idea.

This is one of those days that I get to do whatever I want. No work, no hubby, with a wide open day. This can be scary and exciting. I will be dying my hair, doing my nails, and doing whatever else my little heart desires.
