I'm glad I used yesterday to get organized because its a busy rest of the week. I am subbing the rest of the week, have a christmas party tonight, hanging out with my sister tomorrow night, and going out with our friends in Weirton as a Christmas get together on Thursday (since some are doing the next rotation at home or taking vacation like us!). Lots of fun things!!!

I wore this outfit on Sunday. I dressed up for work today, but I'll show you that tomorrow. I loved how comfortable and cute this outfit was!

Since I have the day off, I have lots to get finished. I'm finishing organizing my closet, which will also help me work on packing, and finishing little odds and ends before we are gone for the holidays. Its going to be a busy week, so this day will make my life easier for the rest of the week. Yay for not being stressed! :)

This has been a great weekend for getting in the holiday spirit if I wasn't already in it! Friday night we went to see the lights, yesterday hubby and I did more Christmas shopping and almost finished, we watched Christmas movies last night, and after church today I did some more baking with two girl friends. Its such a happy time of year and I love it! I was feeling festive so I went with a green and white striped sweater today... maybe I'll add a red scarf and wear it for Christmas!

I subbed middle school math today... glad to get back to school! It was a great day in 8th grade. Tonight we're off to a very large Cabela store, dinner, and to a golf resort that has a Festival of Lights with some friends. It should be a great evening!

Last Christmas by Hillary Duff

Today was very productive. I washed our sheets, scrubbed the tub, cleaned up the kitchen, and started getting outfits together for Christmas break and our family vacation to St. Thomas (we leave December 27th... and I seriously cannot wait!!!!). Since everything is clean now, I have started pulling outfits for all the Christmas things coming up (parties and celebrations with our families) and summer clothes for the week on the beach. I'm being very proactive while I have the time so that I can relax and enjoy the holiday! Tonight I decided to make my own creation in the crockpot for dinner... and it was another winner! It was kind of a breakfast casserole with eggs, hash browns, bacon, and lots of cheese.

Now I am enjoying some key lime pie yogurt and hot chocolate for desert!

(Its actually a really good combination.)

I haven't been too creative with my outfits this week, because I haven't finished my laundry yet! It will be done today however, and I'll have my whole wardrobe to choose from again. I love that feeling when everything is clean... the possibilities are endless! I also don't need to look super creative as I do stuff around the apartment, however I am on a secret mission for a christmas present for hubby, so this outfit looks just fine for a quick trip to the mall. I'll show you what I ended up doing after Christmas. I'm very proud of my idea and don't want him to see this and have it be ruined! (Hi sweetie!)
