Christmas Wishlist #2

I told you I'd make another one! I'm happy to say that I am done shopping for most of my family. Still need to get a few things for hubby's family, but we have a mall date on Saturday so we can finish. How are you doing on christmas shopping? I've already wrapped just about all the presents, so I am ready for some time at home with my family (thats really the best part)!!!
This was my favorite necklace ever... a nice everyday necklace from Stella and Dot. During our move this summer, it somehow got lost and I miss it lots.

I read Lauren's first book, L.A. Candy and really want the sequel. Also, as a fashion blogger, and lover of Lauren's style, I need her book! :)

These are both from Victoria Secret's Pink NFL line. Since the hubby is a browns fan, they are obviously good kissers, and I would love some Bills sweatpants!

I always need more music... I'm a music teacher!

This sweater looks awesome, cozy, and is different than other things I own... love it!

We moved to the town where this movie was filmed, so hubby and I need to see this movie!

Do I even need to explain myself? I own seasons 1-6, and want to cry over and over again when I watch Michael propose to Holly in season 7.

Hey Hubby... do you see this? I found it at Sears :)

What do you want for Christmas?

The One That Got Away by Katy Perry

Some days its hard to convince myself to get dressed... in something more than pajamas. If I'm just going to be doing stuff around the apartment like laundry, cleaning, wrapping presents, and making dinner (like today), then I'd like to be as comfortable as possible. Well, I decided this outfit was close enough, but good enough for an outfit picture. Nothing exciting, but not pajamas!
Fleece: Old Navy / Jeans: Hollister / Flats: Gabriel Bros. / Earrings: Charlotte Russe

This photo totally makes this outfit more exciting!

I am, however, very proud of this creation. I decided to use the crock pot for dinner tonight... put a can of campbell's fiesta cheese and a can of diced tomatoes in the crock pot. I added some cooked ground beef and lots of spices (salt, pepper, paprika, rosemary, basil, parsley, and celery salt) and let it cook for a couple of hours, then added a little bit of shredded mild cheese. Then when we were ready to eat, I boiled water and added egg noodles. Put it together, add some sour cream on top, and you have an excellent meal!

Marry The Night by Lady Gaga

I love Christmas, the season of giving, the time where everyone enjoys the company of family, baking cookies, drinking hot chocolate, and snuggling by the fireplace. I also love decorating!!! I took a few pictures of some of our decorations around the apartment.
Putting ornaments on the tree... also gives you an idea of how small our little fake tree is, yet perfect size for our apartment

Poinsettas and our nativity scene

Poinsetta garland on our bed's headboard

Our finished Christmas tree and some decorations on the tv... of course The Office is on :)

Enjoy your Sunday!

You and I by Ingrid Michaelson

It is a bridesmaid dress shopping kind of day! I'm so excited to go try on lots of beautiful dresses today! The previous three times I've been in weddings (besides my own), I was the junior bridesmaid so I wore what dress they told me. This time I get to help pick which dress we should all wear. The color scheme is platinum/silver/charcoal grey with pink highlights. I think she has decided to go with full length because she wanted tea length and wasn't as successful finding ones she like with that length. So anyway, wish us luck that we find the dresses!

Sweater: Loft / Jeans: Hollister / Shoes: Shoe Show / Earrings: Stella and Dot / Watch: American Eagle

Tonight we're off to an housewarming party at our friend's apartment. Their third roommate finally moved in, so its time to party!

All I Want For Christmas by Mariah Carey

I went shopping with some friends at the outlet mall today since we all had the day off from work. It has cooled down here dramatically, only getting up to the 40s for the high, so I made sure to bundle up! After shopping, we all came back to my place to do some baking. I made cookie crumble topped brownies for a party tomorrow, and we also made cupcakes, toffee bars, pretzel/rolo/almond candy treats, and brownies with a frosting layer on top, with a chocolate/peanut butter/rice krispie topping. Our apartment smells awesome right now!

Jacket: Peebles / Jeans: American Eagle / Clogs: Peebles / Scarf: Honeymoon / Earrings: Kohl's / Glasses: Burberry

Pretzel/Rolo/Almonds, Toffee bars, and Brownies with crumbled cookie topping

After a long day of shopping and baking, I think hubby and I are gonna make it an early night. Tomorrow I'm going bridesmaid dress shopping with one of my best friend's who's getting married! Need my beauty sleep :)

Hit Me With Your Best Shot by Pat Benatar

I have lots to show you today. First off, I bought a shirt from the gift shop of Rock of Ages. Secondly, I am introducing my new glasses!!!! Thirdly, I decided to show different options on how to style my outfit today.
Shirt: Rock of Ages / Jeans: Peebles / Shoes: Payless / Earrings: Walmart / Glasses: Burberry

Jeans: American Eagle / Boots: Peebles

Close up of the t-shirt... wish I could flip it so you could read it the right way....

And finally, my new glasses!!!!! They are Burberry, purchased from LensCrafters, and I love them. I've had glasses since 3rd grade, but wear my contacts 99% of the time. I recently lost the pair that I've had for the past 5 years, so I decided it was time for a new pair... and I also plan on wearing them more and giving my eyes a little break from contacts 24/7. Yes, I wear them when I sleep (I'm allowed to!), but its nice to let my eyes breathe a little. :)

I Wanna Rock by Twisted Sister

Yesterday was an awesome day. Shopping was fun and successful, dinner was yummy, and Rock Of Ages was outstanding! If you like music of the 80s, this is the musical for you. Its basically a rock concert with a plot. Its full of high energy, kick ass songs, comedy from the narrator, and full on entertainment. Plus, knowing the lead makes it that much better.
Check out the tour website to find a location near you!

My sis and I with our leading lady!!!! She is a truly incredible and talented actress!!!

It was such a great day. I loved having my mom stay with us for a few days, making my Thanskgiving break a little longer, getting some Christmas shopping done, and most of all enjoying the company. Can't wait till Christmas!!!!!
